Jeanie’s parents join us in Nassau for the trip to the Exumas. A beautiful 3 ½ hour cruise to Highbourne Cay where we anchored in a protected harbour. The next day we headed to Norman’s Cay, where we anchored and put down the dingy to explore the Cay. The southern portion of Norman’s has an abandoned airstrip, houses and businesses from a time in the 1970’s when a drug lord from Columbia used the island as a drop off point for his drug trade.
Great swimming from pristine white sand beaches. A few short days later we returned to Nassau to re-provision before Terry and Eileen depart.
