We moved south from Georgetown on March 17th, 2007 to Clarence Town, Long Island.After a squally night at anchor in Elizabeth Habour, we had our weather window early in the morning. Had a six hour cruise on the Atlantic with a front following us all the way, just got tied up at the Flying Fish Marina when it started blowing again. It's not supposed to let up for a week.
Have met a local fisherman and is wife Cameron and Bianca (who are expecting the first child) also many new cruising friends, including five young people fromFinland who have crossed the Atlantic on their sailboat. They joined us in exploring a blue hole (depth unknown). A blue hole is usually a circular area that may be like a cave or tunnel that can go downwards for hundred's or thousand's feet. This causes the water to be an extremely dark blue amidst the shallower turquoise water.
