The event comprised of two main races: a “warm-up” race, the “Round Glovers Island Race”, just off of Point Salines and then the more challenging, “12° Cup”. It is called this because the race follows a course marked as closely as possible to the 12° line of latitude which passes directly in front of Petit Calivigny Bay, the location of Le Phare Bleu.
