We arrive safe and sound in Luperon, Dominican Republic on Monday, April 9, 2007 at 6:30am, having left Turtle Cove in Provo, Turks and Caicos on Easter Sunday at 8:30am It is very beautiful here, lots of mountains. We're in a very protected anchorage close to the government docks with easy access to town. We've heading into town to do some exploring this afternoon. We are definitely feeling like we're in the Caribbean now. A lot hotter here then the Bahamas. Very lush and rain forest like. We are anchored by large mangroves and there is a gentle warm breeze.
We will be staying here for approximately a week and will post pictures when we have wifi.
