We departed Luperon, DR April 11th and did another 24 hour passage to Samana, DR. Anchored overnight then left Friday, April 13th to cross the Mona Passage on another overnight (25 hours). The Mona crossing was a bit intimidating as waves came from all directions, biggest water yet.
The north side of Puerto Rico has the second deepest water in the ocean at over 5 miles deep. Arrived in Ponce, PR around 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 14th. We spent a day in port resting up as we did not get much sleep with the crossing. (since leaving Clarence Town, Long Island Bahamas we have cruised over 100 hours in the last 2 weeks)
From Ponce we proceeded to Salinas, PR where we are currently waiting for another weather window.
Will post some photos soon!
