St. Kitts to Montserrat

We had a pretty bumpy ride here yesterday. It took 6 hours, the sea conditions were 6-7 ft swells with 4ft wind chop on top. We are now anchored in Little Bay just off Rendevous Bluff. As we approached Montserrat we could see the volcano, the landscape is barren and the volcano is smoking. Where we are anchoring the landscape is rocky and with some palms and scrub brush. The last eruption of the volcano was in 2003 which destroyed the capital of Montserrat (Plymouth), which is now under the main lava flow. Looking forward to exploring this island.
